So I just heard her new song, and I cannot handle it. It's so god damned catchy. I really can't wait to hear the rest of this album if shake it off and Out of the Woods are any hint of what it's going to be like :D

It's about that point in a relationship when you aren't sure if you're going to break up or not, and the tone and beat to the song are meant to convey the anxiety that you feel at the time. I think she did a wonderful job portraying that through song.
