I dedicated a whole part of my life for maplestory... I spent $300 in one summer once.
Then I realized the game is all just grinding and it got super boring. Although, private servers are super fun.
I used to play on one and then it shut down. I think they repopened it though but I cant remember what it's called T_T

Cougar I think Tyrant Gloves go up to 135 attack or something crazy..power-creep is real :( potential + enhancements r the way 2 go nowadays

bf and i play in bellonova. soon to be merged with a billion other servers xD he's 240 and i'm 231. training is painful and boring so we basically stopped except to log in to do RA to try and level our guild.

Honestly the old training area was perfect (HoH). It's been so long since they got rid of the exp you got from there but we just leeched from our lumi friend basically all day and you could gain levels very very easily. Since they nerked the exp there is only one area to train that is ok. and it takes months to level. One of our guildies got to 250 xD if you're a lumi it's easy though. you can just hold down a button and basically zone out for the entire day. or leave something pressed down on the button and afk all day lmfao.

It did take me 1-2 weeks to get to 200 though when Phantoms came out which I didn't expect.

YES i am so excited for MS2 ;~; it's not even out of beta yet though for kms so i don't think gms will see it for a very long time.

I used to play about 8 years ago, played in Mardia. I wish I could say I miss it. xD I have moved onto Mabinogi and I don't regret the move! Nexon really has turned MS into a cash cow, gotta pay out the wazoo just to get anywhere in the game. Mabinogi is much more balanced IMO.

I played a couple years ago :3 got to level 200 and quit soon after. Went back a few months ago, got to level 206, then haven't touched it for a couple months again xD
It's definitely waaaaay less fun nowadays. The game is so dead compared to what it was a couple years ago ;~; such a shame. Used to spend hours on there, making friends and such.

Might try Maplestory 2, since my SO is interested in trying it out. Hopefully it'll be alright x) though I'm guessing it'll be as much of a cash cow as the original MS.

Reboot is a GMS server but has a different gameplay style than the other servers. No trading system, not a pay2win, have to earn everything yourself, etc. It's really fun and it's the most populated server now.

Also used to play in Bera and Galicia.
