What kind of shoes do you work out in?

Specifically for runners. Do you wear special shoes?
I personally wear my Vibram 5-Fingers. I LOVE running in them. It takes about a week to get used to them though, they make your shins hurt at first. But now they are fabulous!

I never really take into account what shoes I wear. xDDD
Mostly, I just wear whatever I feel most comfortable in, usually Nikes or something. I once tried running in Converse because I am an idiot and almost twisted my ankle.

I was wearing the New Balance 760 series and put tons of miles on the 6 pairs that i owned but I couldn't find any in my size lately so I switched to the Mizuno Wave Inspire 7

You should try vibram five fingers. It's just like being barefoot. :)

I used to run almost every day.
Varied from speed workout, usually 2-4miles tops.
Then distance, usually from about 6-12+

I usually wore asics, they were always really nice :O
