YowaPeda sports anime - watch or no?

I like watching/reading sports style anime/manga just cause it tend to give me better insights into the sports that I am not going to take my reading time off to watch but that my fam, especially my dad, love talking about. So, finished Kuroko no Basuke a couple of months ago and got a rec from a Tumblr friend to watch Yowamushi Pedal. I don't want to sink into it and be disappointed so, any reviews for this?

I can't personally review it since I haven't seen it myself but all my friends who have watched it like it! Maybe you should watch just an ep or two to see if it's your thing :)

I've watched the first couple of episodes and it seems ok, but I just wanted to know if it gets any better before I DL the whole thing.
