Personally, this doesn't happen very often. But! The last band I discovered and now I completely love is Finnish band Lordi. I happened to be watching the 2006 Eurovision contest, and there they were! winning it.

OH DUUUDE I love Pandora <3

Me too! I've been perfecting this one station for three years and it plays the best rap beats w/ out vocals, blues, 30's swing, folk, old rock and roll and lounge music. But... sometimes Dr. Dre sneaks on there and I have to widdle him out of my life, one dislike at a time.

Bouncing Souls, they're a punk group from NJ that started in the late 80s and is still going today. Their album Hopeless Romantic is AWESOME. I have a few songs from their other albums too, but I'd recommend that album if you really enjoy punk rock. If not, then that sucks haha.

my timeline on twitter introduced me to The Vamps a couple of months back and now they've blown up in Australia, having little girls chasing after them, therefore i dont like them anymore, lol.

The first artist in 5+ years whose stuff I had to acquire all of (in terms of jams, anyway) is Hoodie Allen ([Only registered and activated users can see links])!
Self-made rapper from New York who lets fans have most of his music for free straight off of his website. No label. Sold-out shows.
and he's a "handsome devil with a college degree," both self-proclaimed and confirmed by me!

Recently got into Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs. I had only really listened to one or two songs and then decided to check out the full albums. Both of them are great and have brilliant lyrics.

They're pretty consistently good and diverse.

"Come With Me Now" got popular on the radio, but my favorite songs by them are these two instead:

This band, Coffee and Cakes for Funerals are waaaay underrated. They harmonize amazingly, I really think this guy has one of the best voices ever and their instrumentals are... different, but jazzy and catchy. They're from Liverpool, have 5 songs on Spotify & iTunes I really wish they would blow up.

Found out about ONE OK ROCK during Warped Tour 2014. They're a JRock band but their songs are mostly sung in English.

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

There's another JRock band that I got into recently (thanks to an anime called Log Horizon) and their songs are also mostly in English.

Fun Fact: This band plays wearing Wolf Heads even live. :3
