everyone loves a good disney movie from time to time, right?
so, what are some of your favorite go-to disney movies?
they can be old, new, animated, not animated; anything disney!

i'm particularly fond of the older animated disney movies.

if i had to narrow it down, i'd say my top three would be:
the lion king
peter pan
finding nemo

but i also like the jungle book, the emperor's new groove, the lion king II, tarzan, up, and the first pirates of the caribbean movie.

i'd love to see some of your favorites!

ummmmm so i am kind of a huuuuge disney freak

(clearly a wreck-it-ralph fan from sig obvs)

i am all aboard the frozen hype train right now and i can't get off, i love elsa so much
that being said, since i am on the hype train, i don't know if it will remain in my top favorites even though i say it is right now

my favorite one of all is definitely TLK, god i love that movie. i do have a large spot in my heart for 101 dalmatians though (get it? spot? i'm so funny) and i have a very large 101 dalmatians collection. i'll have to take pictures someday. i also love mulan, tangled, lady and the tramp, lilo and stitch.. my favorite of the pixar movies is... oh god i don't know i love them all? probably toy story.

pirates of the caribbean is good too. every time i watch it, it rekindles my middle school crush on orlando bloom.

of the disney direct-to-DVD/VHS sequels i love TLK2, but for some reason i really like cinderella 3 IDK it's so bad it's good like i can't explain it.

I LOVE DISNEY /babbles on

Iron Giant is one of my favorites but its often overlooked.

iron giant isn't disney, it was produced by warner brothers. (common mistake tho, hehe. people do it with anastasia too.)

wtf it isn't? I swear to god someone mentioned to me it was Disney. No wonder Disney never includes it in its things. Well still one of my favorites.

I had to look up some Disney movies, theres so many...Now it has Marvel too.

The Little Mermaid. Hercules. Jungle Book. Peter Pan...oh goddd....Who Framed Roger Rabbit, though not originally written by Disney, they did put out the movie and oh god it's just the best. Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, Toy Story 1-3...I could go on forever. -_-

Don Bluth used to be a Disney animator and made some of the classics as well, like All Dogs go to Heaven and Anastasia.

My fave Disney movies are:
The Lion King
Lilo and Stitch
Oliver and Company
Fox and the Hound

I love the whole gender bender theme going on in Mulan :3 <3 !!
(esp. the scene where Mulans friends cross-dress and sing -we are men- and doing some awesome moves in order to save the empire xD )

I haven't seen Fox and the Hound since my childhood, but I remember it made me tear ;n; !

But I think my favorite is from Pixar, Monsters Inc. even the prequel was awesome :)

If we're talking straight up Disney, I'd have to say Robin Hood, Mary Poppins, and Jungle Book. OMG AND NEWSIES BECAUSE NEWSIES IS THE GODDAMN BEST. OMG I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT NEWSIES.

If we're talking Disney / Pixar, then I'd say Toy Story, Tangled, and Finding Nemo.

3. Lilo and Stitch
4. Winnie the Pooh, ermahgerd. So much love.
5. Up
6. Tarzan because awesome soundtrack.
7. Finding Nemo, omfg.
8. HOCUS POCUS. MY FAVORITE HALLOWEEN MOVIE THAT I WATCH ALL THE TIME I DON'T EVEN CARE.
9. Sleeping Beauty. Was my favorite as a child.
10. Cinderella, but not the Disney one *hides*. The Brandy/Whitney Houston one by Rodgers and Hammerstein's. I have a thing for true musicals.

These aren't in any particular order. I just like lists. :takdir:

OLIVER & COMPANY, Lion King & Lion King II (to a lesser extent. If Lion King is Hamlet, Lion King II is Romeo & Juliet with a happy ending), and Frozen.

i like you. i was actually in a production of roger and hammerstein's cinderella once, i was the fairy godmother. best role i've ever had in a show, kids honestly thought i was magical. i like it more than the animated disney one, but the musical allows for a LOT more time and development of other characters so i'm not sure if it's a fair comparison. the movie one with brandy is still a lot shorter than the actual stage show, altho i do like it because it added a couple songs even tho it took away other scenes. bernadette peters was really good in it too.

Lion King is and always will be the best movie in the history of the film industry. I went and saw the remastered 3d version in theaters and I, as a 23 year old man, still cried when Mufasa died. Fuck you Scar.

Also lol Whoopi Goldberg and Steve Buscemi as hyenas

I also loved Alladin, Little Mermaid, Fox and the Hound, and Beauty and the Beast. Was Land Before Time a Disney movie?

Land Before Time was a Don Bluth film and while he did work for Disney at one point, most of his famous movies were done after he left. LBT was produced by Universal, not Disney.

Frozen, Mulan 1 & 2, and every Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Oh, and all the Toy Stories. There are probably more that I can't remember. Frozen's my absolute favorite though, my parents think I'm gay because of it. They just don't understand me. Also they didn't pay any attention when they watched it so of course they didn't like it :/.

Bambi! Deers are adorable so naturally I love Bambi.
A lesser-known Disney one that I like is Atlantis, the character Princess Kida is pretty cool.
And of course Mulan/Pocahontas/Frozen.

I really like Anastasia too, but that's a 20th Century Fox movie. :P

Aladdin, Toy Story (1), Mulan, Tarzan. I'll happily watch those whenever, wherever, and as many times as possible. The Emperor's New Groove is amazing too, and seriously underrated. I was a bit past the Disney target audience age when it came out (I was 13-14) but I secretly watched it with my younger brother all the time and still love it to this day. Kronk's New Groove was a huge letdown, though.

The Fox and the Hound is THE GODDAMN SADDEST MOVIE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD OMG I BAWL LIKE 4 TIMES IN IT

Anyone else watch The Sword in the Stone when they were little? I haven't watched it in so long, but that's one of my favorites for sure. When I first watched that, I cried when Arthur and Merlin were squirrels and they had to leave the lady squirrel that fell in love with Arthur hahaha. Besides Sword in the Stone, my top favorites are Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Herclues, and Mulan. Still love Alice in Wonderland, Pocahontas, 101 Dalmations, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Robin Hood. Oh god, Fox and the Hound too... why you gotta make me so emotional?
