Perhaps a restriction should be in place on newbies selling items. I suggest 50 posts and at least being a one month member of the site. I personally don't trust them to properly secure things. They should have to be semi-active in the forums in order to be allowed to sell things. It's too easy to make an account on here, dump off some poorly secured items and pass them off as inactive, and then disappear. I'd hate to see people keep losing cash because they bought from a newbie that didn't properly secure their items/accounts/etc. I'm not saying all newbies do this, but it's a concern I thought I'd raise.

They had something similar imposed on another forum, and I personally was never for it. It's deters members away from the forum. Everyone signs up to trade/use programs, then become apart of the community.

If you don't trust that they don't secure things properly, don't buy from them, simple as that.
To add, every user that signs up, and starts a trade thread with 0 posts, soon realize that they won't draw much attention because users will be opposed to buying from them, so they will eventually start posting around anyways.

I agree with Lmp. Having a post count only encourage new users to spam. The 1 month period probation is also too easily by pass as some people can use proxy/multiple email addresses and make a bunch of account and just age them like neopet. I would strongly ask a middleman/woman to help secure the item/transaction if possible (although the new users hardly ever read up on how to use/trust middleman since they are new and unaware middleman's reputation on clraik). If you can't trust them on knowing how to secure the item, they DO NOT conduct transaction with them.

I didn't join a lot of forums BECAUSE of the required ranks/post counts/etc. I'm just too damn lazy for that and i don't like talking much except to sell/buy stuff.

In honesty, people are more inclined to buy from those on the forum who contribute and seem as if they know what they are doing.

For a key to new members, IF you wanna generate many buy sand not bump your thread for weeks on weeks to sell 2 items at 5 dollars a pop. I suggest being more active, learning, soaking in tips from people.
I ask questions all the time, I know it annoys Drizzy probably. But I do it because I want to be sure, and I do it to learn. You cant just assume things, not w/ the unexpectedness of TNT and the way the market is. If someone sells me shady shit, they deserve to be chargebacked. Just my take on it.
