This is not a debate of which game is better, but more of the actual 'pets' themselves. Both are devoted to their owners. You feed them, train them, battle them, heal them, equipt them (with moves/abilities/or actual swords and stuff in neo), spend time with them, go on adventures with them.. This is a pretty open ended question. It is not so much you are a pokemon trainer or neopian, but the pets are alive in our world we live in today, and either neopets are real or pokemon are real.

Which would you live with and why?

They look more BA than the Neopets. Neopets dont really have any protective features/traits. Pokemon looks like they are built to fight.

In its simplest sense, just compare the 2 charts in the OP. Need I say more?

My own reasoning - Mewtwo kicks ass. He's strong, has some crazy voodoo powers, and prob smarter than any human. But bound to my Pokeball, he would be my best buddy and my best bitch.
Then there's Arceus, it's pretty much God itself in a Pokemon. Owning it would mean destruction of space and time on a whim.

Aparently, neopets are smart creatures, can understand and use human speech, read books, and everything...basically it seems to me that they arent different from us, except for their appearance...so, why do we treat them like dogs ?

With how fast they breed yeah that's true, with Pokemon you would need to setup farms and slaughter houses to keep the Pokemon population normal and to keep rare Pokemon rare so trainers feel they can still accomplish something.

Neopets on the other hand most look scary so no doubt lots of hunting types would send most of them to extinction besides the cute ones that would no doubt time into models or sexy slaves.
