PS4 Warning

Just thought I would let you know for those who planning on getting one, you can't play your own movies etc off USB or stream over your local network.

Bit of a kick in the balls if you ask me.

Ps it is an awesome console gaming wise.

Wait like...at all? I remember with the ps3 if i formatted my external to the right format, I'd be able to access my like 300 movies I have on it lol...Thats definitely a problem =/

Dropbear nope not at all, there is space for USB but no compatibility at all to push the sales of their movie store. If you put it in to Google it will tell you.

CharlieG thats so sad, I know I'm not buying any of their movies, but oh well...thank god my comp has an HDMI to my TV lol...stupid sony.

I know mine has too and I do have a DVD with a USB slot but I liked using my Playstation for everything. Gaming wise it's fantastic and I can't fault it, shame it's not compatible with USB though.

In a few years, most people will have those TVs which you can plug a USB into anyway. They're already pretty common

I have one of those tvs but only plays what it feels like. Like I said I have a dvd player that is epic for playing USB's but I still liked to put movies on my PS hard drive etc. Surely they have to fix this?

just move your movies to the cloud :) then you can watch it from anywhere ;)
