Apparently I faced a moderator today

I am helping my buddy get silver since he gave up, and Ive played roughly 30 games. I have won my last 14 in a row, 10 of which were as Ezreal giving me a 10/0/0 rating with KD of 13/3/9 average. I played this one duo two games ago of an Alistar and Vanye, and I ended the game at 19/4/10. I then joined queue again and noticed I was facing the same duo but as Draven and Leona this time. They immediately started saying "GG, ez smurf, gg" and stuff like that. Someone on the other team claims he is a moderator on the forums and was going to tape our game as part of their "elimination of smurfs and boosting". I went 17/3/9 this game and received my promotion. Should my friend be worried or?

No he shouldn't be worried Bettser Many people smurf/boost theres too many to ban and smurfing isn't a problem anyway as your allowed to have more than one account, they have no proof that you are a booster unless you were blabbing your mouth letting them know you were!

Well, in the first game they asked me and I just said ":)" and stuff. And then at the end I said "Platinum 2" and that was the end. :P

Well lets hope he doesn't get banned! I sit on the league forums all the time and nobody has ever got banned for it or complained on the forums about it, the only people i have seen banned from this are people who actually sell this service Bettser But hey i'm only silver 1 so you will probably know more than me :D

And people always lie to scare you, say if you outplay someone or you piss them off someone and they want to get you back, they say they are a moderator and are going to get you banned and this will scare you (hence why you made the thread) I think they would have just been bullshitting and you'll be fine

Forum moderators can't do shit. Especially because smurfing is 100% legit and "boosting"? Boosting is when you pay a (professional) player to get on your account to boost your ranking from silver 2 to Plat1 or w/e

Boosting is legal in China, it is not acceptable in the US and Canada but they don't really do anything unless you get thousands of reports for it.
