:XXX

I just coved a FC Shield on my side account *lol*. The IP address was different from my main but what would be the safest method of transfering this item onto my main account? xD. (The side had ~2m to begin with so i didnt have to transfer dubloons onto it).

Any help is much appreciated ^_^.

Sit on it, you legitly restocked it.

Or was there anything suspicious you did on it?

Instead of moving it, build up the side a little bit since it isn't connected to your main in any way. Then sell it right from your side.

hmm i should probably rephrase :X

its not so much a side as it is a shell :P. the problem is there are multiples of that account name that i obtained. like xxxxxxxxxx1, xxxxxxxxxx2, etc... this one happens to be xxxxxxx8 *lol*

so building it up might raise suspicions :X

if i wanted to transfer it though, what would be the best method?

I usually do the gift method, but every way has ups + downs. It's all personal preference.

Andrew's guide ([Only registered and activated users can see links]!) is good on this.

Yeah, I can't believe I forgot about Andrew's guide, It was everything I do, common sense but yeap, it pretty much covers it.

The shop wizard method, where you sell it for 1 np, and quickly buy it on your main. Want me to explain, or no?

DO NOT do this with high end items. IE. R130/150 items, R250 items, and certain R101 Cove items

It will trigger a flag, and your own account will get "frozen for your own protection."

Are you sure?

You go try it with a Kings Lens or something in that vein such a Lost Desert Scarab, or even a SuAP, I guarantee you'll get iced within the day.

From my experience, SoWL also occasionally triggers a protection against scamming ice, as does Istaff and WoDF.

Really? I never knew that. I've used the shop method for heaps of things like Hidden Tower items (usually 100-300np sell price) with no issue, but I have to move a super high end item and was thinking of using the shop snipe method again should I not do this?

Be careful when transferring using programs :( I guess my main got iced that way....another 3 accounts down....

HT r200 items are okay. For the most part. But I guarantee you moving high end items past that range via shop will get you iced so much more easily than if you just gift the damn thing

So gifting it would be safer than that method?
Sorry I've never moved a big ticket item before

Its going to my main so obviously I want to be careful with this
The actual item has been secured for 3+ months

I have transferred billions via shop method, peas, old ht items, r100's, etc etc and been fine.
It really depends if it's that time of the month for tnt or not.

Sometimes you could move a baby pb and they will ice you. Or you could move a suap and they wouldn't even take notice.
it's hard to predict them really.

But I would probably just move the shield via trades or gift.

I have moved all my shields this way and they are all still sitting fine on their storage shells :P

I would gift it, and send the side you gifted it from a "Omg! th-Thank you"
neomail so TNT wont be suspicious. xD
