As the title says, I've never done this before, so I want to make sure I do it as safely as possible.

You need information or to physically have someone log on the shells for you?

Is this for a program or regular browser?

Well, if you're using Firefox, there's the foxy proxy addon, it'll show a blue fox when you're correctly logged on using a proxy, make sure to use Elite proxies only, and clear your cookies before and after every new account.

is using firefox do the following:

Tools > Options > Advanced Tab > Network Tab > Settings >

Tick the box that says manual proxy configuration.

then in he HTTP proxy line put the proxy.

for example, if its 202.221.98.19:60

the 60 goes in the port section, the rest in the http proxy section.

I figured a browser proxy must be the best option. I'll give it a try, thanks.

I prefer a proxy program, like Hide My ass's, it's 11 something dollars a month and worth every penny. That means your entire computer is covered, including programs.

But for us cheapskates, those proxy options on our browsers help a ton

I always had a problem finding proxies that would move fast enough, even with a great website to pick from, they were always slow, and mostly chinese, lol.

Problem with certain website proxies is that they aren't fully compatible with all websites

The last time I had to use an external proxy program was when I tried to get into the Korean open beta of Lineage II... wow, that was a long time ago. Amazingly laggy, as well.

I have zero lag with this one, you can choose any country to proxy from, as well as individual states and towns and whatnot. No lag at all, I end up spending most of the day proxied and not even know because it's so smooth.
