Heroes of Might and Magic V

I've played the Heroes series. I personally prefer Heroes III as teh best (especially with that fan expansion) but out of the newer one, I've taken a liking to Heroes VI. :3

Really?? my always like the V will try to unburden the 3 :D , when you play which is the faction that most choose??

skeletons can reach a lot XD, once you get to 3m or more ajjajaja I playing with Sylvan :3 are amazing , especially the double archers or emerald dragons :D

Never played WoG fan exp - it looks like a color whacked version with overpowered, godlike creatures.
But will agree that H3 is the best Heroes game, it was my first HOMM that got me hooked.

Why else is there still fan development for such an old game? ;)

I don't play any HOMM games any more, but I remember playing the H3 demo for months (broke little kid, couldn't afford full retail) and only beat it twice.
Then I revisited that same demo map once when I was ~16 and lol, I owned it so easily. I just never learned of the word 'rush' before.

I was such a dumb little kid, /facepalmed so hard. :P

Sylvan is pretty fun too. But I dunno, I've always liked Necro ever since HoMM III and I've stuck with them since then. :)

Haha. WoG had it's perks but to each their own. :) I bought H3 for nostalgia when it was on sale for $2. I was amazed at the fact that people were still buying it.
