How to AOB Avatars on Neopets
I've taken the liberty to clean up this guide and update many of the codes that no longer work. Please do not reproduce this guide and claim it as your own.

If you're new to AOBing, I recommend practicing on shells first until you've gotten the hang of manipulating CheatEngine. If you don't know how to use CheatEngine, then check out the guide here: [Only registered and activated users can see links](AoB)-for-flash-games&highlight=cheatengine
This guide is horribly outdated. I will be making a new guide soon.

DO NOT SEND IMPOSSIBLE SCORES.

Some of these AoB’s are capable of producing impossible scores.
If you end up with an impossible score, simply restart the game.
Many of these AoB’s allow you to achieve an avatar score in a time that is too short to have possibly gotten it legitly. In these cases, a time range is given. Let the game window sit open for the listed time, and THEN click Send Score.
Your time for each game begins from when you actually begin playing the game and ends when you click send score.
This method is extremely safe, provided you have a slight bit of common sense and follow this guide.

Credit for most Review scores goes to Infamous Joe unless noted. These are subject to change at TNT's discretion. Do not take the review scores in this guide as "law."
Credit for most of these AoB's goes to Coilvect and Mondale/Death. But I have updated a few myself over the past few months from my sales when I realized a few of them on the old guide no longer work.

If you find a AOB that no longer works. Please reply to this thread and mention me Wrath. This thread is not for teaching you how to use CheatEngine. Please make a separate thread. The only replies should be to report when a AOB no longer works or to request an AOB that would make achieving a score easier or faster to obtain.

Games are listed in alphabetical order by the name of the game, NOT the name of the avatar.

Advert Attack:

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score needed: 700+ / Review Score: 830
AOB codes:
No Adverts
9d 02 00 66 01
99 02 00 66 01

Notes: Click the GO button like crazy. Leave your game window open for 1-2 minutes when done to accommodate for the fact that if playing legitly, you would have had to move adverts out of the way.

[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Assignment 53

Score Needed: 20,000+ / Review Score: Untested, but 29,996 is the max possible score
AoB Codes:

Increase # of lives when you die
66 9f 06 c1 d6 d1 d2 61 9f 06 ->
66 9f 06 c0 d6 d1 d2 61 9f 06

Invincible (Has 3 addresses so change the first one)
66 d0 0d 68 df 0d =>
66 d2 0d 68 df 0d

Notes: These codes make you invincible, but you will have to be damaged once by each projectile type once before you become immune to it. It is rather glitchy. Some people claim to have better luck with changing all three addresses, but in my experience just changing the first has the most consistent effect. You can still die by falling in pits. Simply avoid falling in pits, and finish the levels. I've sent scores above the avatar score and didn't use any waiting time after achieving my score, and have had zero reviews and zero iced accounts thus far.

For the first code (invincible to projectiles), it will give you 3 results. ONLY ADD AND ALTER THE FIRST RESULT. If you add & alter the other two, the code doesn't work.

Carnival of Terror

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score Needed: 725+ / Review Score: 1100

AoB Codes:
Infinite Ammo
96 0e 00 07 ff ff ff ff 07 01 00 00 00 04 01 08 2a
96 0e 00 07 00 00 00 00 07 64 00 00 00 04 01 08 2a

Infinite Health
96 0e 00 07 f6 ff ff ff 07 01 00 00 00 04 01 08 0a
96 0e 00 07 00 00 00 00 07 7f 7f 7f 7f 04 01 08 0a

Infinite Time
96 0e 00 07 ff ff ff ff 07 01 00 00 00 04 01 08 40
96 0e 00 07 00 00 00 00 07 7f 7f 7f 7f 04 01 08 40

Notes: Use all 3 codes together. Running out of any one of Health, Life, or Time ends your game. When you have achieved your desired score, click end game. Legitly getting this avatar requires a bit of luck, mostly with the time. Playing with the AoB codes removes the luck factor and allows you to breeze through the game. No wait time needed when sending your score for this one.

[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Chia Bomber 2

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score Needed: 1300+ / Review Score: 1565+

AoB Codes:
Enemies Don't Move
96 09 00 04 01 08 05 07 06 00 00 00
96 09 00 04 01 08 05 07 00 00 00 00

Notes: For this one, all the enemies will be stuck in a row at the top right corner of the game. Simply walk to the top of the screen, face them, and start spamming the space bar. THEY CAN STILL FIRE BACK! Your ending score for this game is based on how many enemies you killed, as well as how many lives you have left when you end the game. There is NO end game button. You need to finish all 15 rounds of the game. To adjust your score, you can die. You will lose 100 points every time you lose a life. It is VERY easy to achieve a reviewable score by just blasting your way through the game. It is also VERY easy to finish the game way too quickly for it to seem like a legit time. Adjust your score as mentioned, and when you’re finished, allow the game window to sit open for 5-10 minutes to make the score seem more legit. The higher your score, the longer you should leave the game open afterwards.

Destruct-O-Match III

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score Needed: 2500+ / Review Score: 2800+

AoB Codes:

Destroy single tiles:
60 cb 02 66 8a 07 24 01
60 cb 02 66 8a 07 24 00

Notes: To make this one go a little faster, try to eliminate all of whatever color blocks there seems to be the least of first. If you can, save the 2x and 3x multiplier blocks until after you've got a large group of the same color blocks together. Large groups of blocks give you extra points above and beyond the number of blocks in the group. The more blocks you can take out with a single move, the better. You'll get your score faster this way, but not so fast that you have to worry about leaving a wait time on the end.

Dubloon Disaster:

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score Needed: 2500+ / Review Score: 6500

AoB Codes:

96 05 00 07 ff 00 00 00 0c 3e 4f

Notes: If you only enter the remove mines code, you will have to chase down each dubloon, but you won’t need to wait to send your score. If you use both codes together, you’ll still have to press an arrow key every so often, or just hold one down for the dubloons to teleport to you, but you’ll need to leave the game open for 5-15 minutes, depending on how high of a score you’re sending.

Escape From Meridell Castle

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

96 0C 00 07 00 00 00 00 07 00 00 00 00 08 00

Notes: There is NO end game button on this one, so to end your game you have to die. Check the current high score table for this game before beginning to know how high you have to score. You won’t even need to go past the first level of the game. Because you can get the score you need so quickly on this one, allow your game window to sit open for 10 minutes minimum before you send your score. Leaving it open longer won’t hurt anything.

Extreme Herder

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score Needed: 250+ / Review Score: 450

AoB Codes:

Just walk up to a gate to start scoring points
9d 02 00 83 00
02 02 02 02 02

Notes: If Balthazar goes off screen and doesn’t come back, you won’t be able to finish the game. Refresh the page and start all over. Other than that, you and all the petpets are invincible. Get your score, revert the AoB code, and let Balthazar eat you until your game is over. No wait needed, just submit your score.

If you choose to use the second code, you will get your score VERY fast. Your game window should be open (from the time you start playing, until you choose to send your score) for 7-12 minutes for a score around 250-275

Extreme Potato Counter:

Game Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Score Needed: 200+ /
Review Score: 140 - they like to change this one semi-frequently compared to other games

AoB codes:
ANY answer you enter is correct
4f e8 0b 00
4f e7 0b 00

Notes: IF YOU GET THIS AVATAR, YOUR SCORE WILL BE REVIEWED!!! Yes, the review score is LOWER than the avatar score! I would not recommend doing this one while you have any other game scores still awaiting review. That just looks shady. You don't have a whole lot of control over your score on this one. Just let the game do its thing, and enter ANY number at the end of each level. The AoB will auto-correct it to whatever the correct answer is. DO NOT USE THE SPEEDHACK WITH THIS. You're GOING to be reviewed. If you're unsatisfied with your score, it seems too high to you, whatever, just restart the game and do it again until you get a score you're willing to send.

Notes: You can only use one of these codes at a time! I recommend using the “every bubble is a nova” code and leaving your window open for 4-7 minutes after getting your score. I only included the other codes because they exist, and work.

96 02 00 08 21 1c 0b
96 02 00 08 21 1c 47

Notes: Use all 3 codes. Even with all 3 codes, you can still lose by running out of time, so do this one as quickly as possible and use the speed hack to slow the game down if need be. The only thing you have to worry about is just getting the blobs to land in the containers. The little angelic (has a halo) blobs are your best friend. They completely fill one container when they land in it. Do NOT click the blobs that have an evil looking grimace on them. They will completely EMPTY whatever container they land in. No need to wait to send score on this one.

If you do not get into the secret areas, you will not be able to get the avatar, even by finishing everything else in the game. Yes, you have to play through the whole game. No, you don’t have to wait any when you go to send your score if you do not speed hack it. I like to use the speed hack to speed the game up and then let my game window sit open for 10-15 mins.

Notes: You will get 3 results when you run your first search. You can manipulate your score for this one by NOT editing one (or more) of the strings that come up. Each code affects one of the 3 different color jelly items. Leave one or two out and you won’t end up with a score that is a multiple of 100. Allow the game window to sit open for 5-7 minutes after you get your score for this one. Be careful not to go over the review score. It’s easy to do if you edit all 3 codes.

Notes: You only have to click anything when it’s time to start a new level. Other than that, this avatar basically gets itself once you start the game. You can get the bonuses if you want, but don’t need to. Just send score once you have above 14.5K and you’re golden. Speed hack this game to increase the speed ( I set mine to 10 or above) and finish quickly, then let your game sit open for 7-11 mins before sending your score.

Notes: This game is SUPPOSED to be very time consuming when played legitly and going for an avatar or trophy score. PLEASE leave your game window open for 30 minutes - ONE HOUR when modifying your score. I'm almost hesitant to release AoB's like this one.... Your score MUST end in 0 (be divisible by 10). Do not modify it to something that does not fit these requirements. Only go as high as you absolutely NEED to. Going higher makes it more of a pain for everyone else.

Notes: Using these AoB's (as they're listed) you want to shoot as many of the small jubjubs as you can, as they'll give you 1 point each so your score isn't a perfectly rounded number. OR you could modify the values in red to reflect whatever you want your score for that item to be. (Remember, it must be in HEX!) Once you have your desired score, leave your game window open for 5-10 minutes. This game used to be time consuming, so the wait time IS important. Remember, you only need 3500 points for your avatar!

If you’re going particularly high in score for some reason, wait longer. ALWAYS CHECK THE TOP 50 SCORES BEFORE STARTING. Know what score you need to get. Don’t go higher than you need to! You can manipulate your score by turning on and off the appropriate score modifying AoBs. Use your imagination (and some math) for that last statement.

Notes: If you use the "AI doesn't kick or punch" codes, you won't be able to let the enemy kill you. These codes are included only because they exist and work. To get the avatar score, you need to hit each opponent until just before they die, and then let them kill you, twice per opponent. You also get more points by doing combos (pressing zxzx or xzxz) than you do just by normal hits. You can ALSO get even more points if you do a combo in the air while jumping. You’ll get some points when you actually hit the opponent, and some more when they land again. You’ll also do a little damage when you hit them, and a little more when they land, so when getting an opponent down to as low on their life as possible, be aware of this. Just beat all the opponents like this, and send your score. No wait needed.

Notes: The score modifier makes this game much less painful. I have the code here set to give you 100 points per enemy killed, which I've found works just fine for my purposes, as it doubles the normal point value. If you want to get your score faster than that, use a hex converter and change the "32" in the first string to whatever you want in hex. Just make sure you leave your game open for an equal amount of time as how long you played, if you use the codes as I published them. If you alter your score mod to something higher than what I published, leave the window open even longer.

If you use the second method, leave your mouse over the end game button so all you have to do is click once you have your score. That’ll prevent you from accidentally going too high with your score. You will also have to leave your game window sit open for 8-10 minutes after getting your score this way. Play it once without the 255 lives code and you'll see what I mean. To make it easier on yourself, only continue to play the game if the first level has at minimum, 3 gems on it. 4 gems would be ideal however.

You can manipulate your score by putting petpets in the wrong location. It takes points away from you every time you do that. As soon as you have the score, click end game, and allow to game window to sit open for 5-10 minutes before sending your score. After that, in between each round focus on making a border around your ENTIRE board, closing in ALL of the snowmen in one big border. Once you have all of your snowmen surrounded, you'll be able to raise your score much faster. With all the snowmen surrounded, just before your time runs out during each shooting portion of each level, purposely blast away one to 3 blocks of your wall, leaving an easily filled gap in your border and leaving your original snowman surrounded. Rebuild this gap during each build phase and you'll get several hundred points per turn. You'll also be able to place more catapults each round (up to 5 per round). Your game should be open (including time spent playing and wait time after getting your score) for a total of 20-25 minutes.

Get your score and wait 2-5 minutes before sending it. Be careful though, if you are in the middle of a very long combo, you will not be able to pause or otherwise end your game. If this happens, quickly turn on the speed hack and set it to 0.1. That will pretty much pause your game. Revert the AoB’s and turn the speed hack off. The combo should end very shortly after that.

Notes: Entering JUST the letter "A" is still incorrect. You DO HAVE TO ENTER SOMETHING for each anagram however. I typically just enter one letter and click enter. Play the game on Hard, you get more points per anagram. You only need to get to 850 points before you enter Eliv Thade’s chamber for the last anagram. I recommend going around to all the other rooms, getting the items, and then coming back to the long section where you start and just going back and forth until you get to about 850 points. You will get a 100 point bonus when you beat Eliv Thade, and you will get ANOTHER 150 point bonus when you choose to send you score. You will not see this 150 point bonus until you actually send your score. You’ve got some wiggle room between the avatar score and the review score, so don’t worry too much about it. If you do like I normally do, and just enter one letter per anagram, you should let the game sit for at least 5 minutes before sending your score. There is a “secret” path from the center room which takes you directly back to the straight path at the top. (See screenshot inside of the below spoiler)

96 0e 00 07 64 00 00 00 07 01 00 00 00 04 02 08

Notes:
New way: Just use my fancy little code to make all yellow grundos worth 100 points. It's a lot faster. You'll need to kill at least 36 grundos which will put you into level 3-4 to get the avatar. That means you won't even have to complete the freaking game! Wait about 15-20 minutes before sending your score.

Old way: Before starting the game, TURN THE SOUND OFF. Otherwise once you get to the boss, the sounds will be HIGHLY annoying, you will be spending more time on the boss than the rest of the game. You can manipulate your score somewhat on the earlier levels by choosing to enter the red grundo’s words. They give you more points. Once you get to the boss, you must let your time run out (the bar across the top that decreases is your time). If you do not let your time run out on the boss, it IS possible to defeat him and not have an avatar score, which means you’d have to start all over. The annoying sounds come when your time runs out on the boss and he starts shooting you. Get your score and submit it. No need to wait.

Notes: Just type in “catapult” until you have several of each power-up. When you go to shoot an arrow, use one of each power-up that you like. You’ll easily get the score. You'll get it even easier if you happen to get a balloon and shoot that. So long as you don’t go over the review score, just submit your score. No wait time needed.

Yes it is the same format of Mondale/Death's guide, but the codes are updated. A53 has been updated. It works for me. Mondale/Death is done with Neo/CK so someone needed to take it over. I've added your AOB to A53 as well!

For me I have to get hit by the projectile once and then if it's the same projectile I don't get hit. It's really glitchy though. Seems to work better in the later levels than the beginning levels. Kreludor is a breeze, but the beginning levels are meh with it.

AoB is safer than SS.
AoB you have to play the game, while SS not.
AoB is like a cheat to make the game easier and SS is just a score sending

Awesome Guide .
Just one question whats the difference between this and Score Sending ,
Just to clear things up.

Scoresending bypasses the entire idea of playing the game entirely. It connects to the server and sends the score automatically after a wait time.

AOBing utilizes CheatEngine, a program that allows you to edit specific values in a flash game to make the game easier or to 'cheat' at the game. For example, Kass Basher. Normally you only get the tree 1/10000 times. By editing part of the flash memory or the coding of the game, you now get to use the tree every single time. The same concept can be applied to infinite lives, making certain things worth more points, being invincible, etc.

I prefer AOBing because I'm the one in control. I feel less in control when I score send.

Score sending is where there's a time sending of scores from a program, whereas AOBing is where you actually play the game using cheat codes that give you an advantage, and is undetectable by TNT. Only way to really get frozen is sending a very high score in a short amount of time.

You don't fix what isn't broken. All that needed updating was the codes. Not the guide. The guide was perfect. If it's any consolation, I do spend about 1-2 hours per code that needs updating depending on the game's language to locate the code, test the code, make sure it doesn't break the game somewhere down the line.

I saw that pre edit and went to quote you and saw you changed it xD
But I do see where you are coming from. But then perhaps that best way to go about it would be to just post on Mondale's thread and have somebody update it from there. I don't see many codes that are changed from his guide to your guide, and it is just very similar. Maybe if you put your own spin on things and started the guide from scratch that would be cool, but it seems like a simple copy/paste for most of it. I don't really know what's involved with finding new codes as I don't really do that, so it might have been tough to find the ones you changed, but I don't know an entire new thread was necessary. I don't wanna say it's completely ripping his guide, but it's close, ya know?

Oh I SEE , SS goes directly to the server with just the wait time. While the AoB , makes it seem more legit and your actually playing the game .
Which is actually real.

Yes, it's safe unless you get reviewed for a ridiculous score/time or are otherwise behaving suspiciously (like suddenly sending avatar scores for every avatar game in a week)

It's the same as a score sender except there's less room for error as you're actually playing the game.
