I'm so excited that it comes out today xD I love Monsters Inc. Though I am a little disappointed it's a prequel and not a sequel, but I guess a sequel wouldn't make much sense with how the movie ended. Still! It looks good ^-^

I am mildly excited, in a "I'm going to go out of my way to go watch this in theaters, also not in my way at all and I mean I guess I'll probably watch it eventually" way.

It seeeems like they have gone a little overboard promoting this, as the merch is already on sale and there are stale monster cookies everywhere I turn in the store. For the love of yummy cookies everywhere T_T

Watched it with a friend last night. I'm not really what you would consider a big fan of the genre but it was decent. My friend just *loved* it though. Girls... :rolleyes:

I had tickets to see the very first viewing of this in Downtown Disney and my boyfriend and I accidentally overslept with our naps. /facepalm
We had to switch our tickets to the day after, which was a pain in the ass.

It really was a sweet movie, though.
I love watching big Disney movies actually in Disney because the whole theater is packed but everybody is so into the movie and responds accordingly.

The movie itself was great BUT the promotion for it was annoying as fuck. Literally EVERYWHERE you turn in Disney, they have Monsters Inc/MU merch, whereas prior to MU they had almost none.
