Above is right but not exactly simplified.
A bit late but
1+ (1/1+(1/x))
= 1+(1+1/x)
= 1+((x+1)/x)
= (2x+1)/x

Then it is 2x+1/x+1

More simplified impossible.

The most you can simplify it to.
