I can help you with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash problems! I'm a Graphic Design/Digital Media Major :)

I am learning some other Adobe programs right now, so if you have questions on other Adobe products let me know and I will do my best to help you out :)

Phoenix

lol yeah I will once I get the time :)

Yes I do know how to work with Dreamweaver to an extent (sadly I'm no Web Designer/Developer so I will not be able to teach advanced HTML and CSS but can provide basic stuff for the time being until I learn more advanced material)

i know how to code and everything, i've just never really worked with a program that codes, and all the guides are too complex D;

Well I was taught in my web design classes to not use the design portion of Dreamweaver. It is known to create false html and wreck havoc on your layout and everything (this is true, since when I upload them I get weird messages on neo saying my code is messed up) XD Basically if you stick in the code section you'll be fine, just make sure to create a separate CSS document and link it to the file you're working on (or you can be lazy and have it in the same file at the beginning of the Document) I'll upload some pictures of what I am talking about sooner or later ... so busy atm XD

lol I actually love dreamweaver! so much better than having to put my code in a text document XD Whats your major? (is it Web Design?):3

I will show a basic how to for dreamweaver this weekend, since I have 2 projects due this week and I am scurrying to have them finished (both by tomorrow lol) One is going to be an animation done by Indesign, and the other is to be a record cover... (*sigh* so expensive too... printing costs are going to kill me)

My major is IT which is a 70% overlap with computer science because "web design" is too specific of an undergrad major in most places (it seems like most are online)... But I love writing HTML & CSS (and making the graphics for them in photoshop hence the graphic design minor) and I'm learning PHP and javascript and SQL pretty soon, Dreamweaver can't really help you with that can it? xD

Edit: ^That question wasn't sarcastic, I've only used it one time as an experiment so I really don't know haha

:O I wanna learn how to write Javascript ;~; My 2nd web design class was supposed to teach us that but the professor had to stay from it because a lot of people didn't even learn the stuff from the previous web design class (as the professor was an idiot and stuff.. thankfully he got fired)

And yes you can write Javascript in Dreamweaver, I know I learned how to do one or two things and applied them into the program but I have already forgot. What is SQL? (since Im not too into the whole Web/IT/Programmer type) Lauren

I would recommend Corel Painter (you can download the trial or download it from a site like piratebay for free). There is also Gimp which is very user friendly which can be downloaded for Mac.

do you have dream weaver ????

I do! :3 I'm assuming the question from the thread you made you need help with the bg repeating.

well I would recommend putting the bg before you put the rest of the < div > codes in. so it would be like this. (Note, it will have to be in a css document

<html>
<head>
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<meta [Only registered and activated users can see links]"Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

<style type="text/css">
<!--
body{
width:100%; height:100%; font-size:100%; text-align:center; padding:0; margin:0;
background:black url("patt1.png") repeat-x fixed 50% 50%;}

Also, if you don't need to change your width or height, you can leave that part out.
