1. Sand and Water. The rest form homogenous solutions or colloids.

2. Suspension. Solutions have particles that are so small that they don't settle. Colloids have bigger particles, but don't settle due to Brownian Motion.

4. Refer to lab.

5. Suspension. Refer to #2.

6. How fast a substance dissolves.

7. Physical. Solutions are still types of mixtures and therefore did not undergo a chemical reaction. Evaporation is only needed because the solute molecules are so small that they go through filter paper.

8. Colloid.

9. Water, even though technically the term is incorrect because universal refers to dissolving EVERY type of solute.

10. Solubility is how much solute will dissolve in solvent.

12. Weight. If temperature is increased, more solute can be added. If there is a lot of pressure, for example soda, then the solute (in this case, CO2 gas) will stay dissolved, and the rate of solubility is also affected by the surface area of the solute molecules.
