The only things I've seen from that list are Shawshank, Avengers, and Iron Men. For television, I'd recommend Psych. It's my absolute favorite show of all time, though there are some people who don't like it.

To be honest, I have been really into breaking bad. I have literally been spending more time watching it then studying which is not a good thing. Its crazy how Walt went from the father, Hal on Malcom in the middle to this sort of a role. Well done by him.

there have been two seasons thus far.
the first season was based in a haunted house
the second; an asylum
its not your conventional horror series/ show by any means
its twists/ plot variety will simply blow you away :P

BBC Sherlock is EXCELLENT. The movies with RDJ are pretty good, too!
If you like lots of people dying and blood and stuff personally I really liked Taratino's Django Unchained, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

If you liked Avengers, Joss Whedon's most awesome brainchild ever was the TV show Firefly which was totally awesome and flawless and only has one season and a follow-up movie so it's a pretty quick watch.
