While I've been a long time fan of the Final Fantasy series & Mario, I have to say I have a huge soft spot for the Crash Bandicoot series, mainly because of sentimental reasons.


When I was 7 and we got our first PS my mum wouldn't let me buy Crash Bandicoot because she thought Crash was "too violent". So I kept bugging her for it. It was only after I had finished Hercules three times over did she let me buy it.

(Funny how she would let me slay Centaurs, Hydras, Medusa & Hades but wouldn't let me jump on boxes & collect Wumpa fruit....)

And I've bought every game in the series ever since :3

I loved my Nintendo 64 so that will always be nestled in the softest part of my heart. I never got OOT or MM so my first foray into the Legend of Zelda was Wind Waker. I know it's not representative of the series and far from the best, but it was the first video game I was sad to finish so it's my favorite Zelda game, and maybe even my favorite video game of all time.
But it's hard to say. There's so many more left to get released ;)

I think my favourite Nintendo game would have to be the Pokemon series, but with the Zelda and Harvest Moon series being a very, very close second, and then Mario in third. (I'm not even going to get into my favourites from each series..)
My favourite Playstation game is definitely the Spyro series. Yeah, it went to shit after the one with Cynder, which was an okay game in general but disappointing compared to the previous games. But, I still love the original 3 to death. The replay value for me with those guys is ridiculous haha.
For Sega, it's definitely Sonic by a stretch. I know Sega stopped making consoles long ago, but most of the Sonic games on other systems are horrible besides the first few released so I figured it should be mentioned. I'm still a big fan personally.
As for Xbox, there's really no Xbox-exclusive games I'm crazy over. I never really liked Halo, though last time I tried playing was 6 years ago, and I haven't tried Fable yet so I can't say. I guess I could go with Minecraft as my favourite for both Xbox and PC haha.

I really enjoyed Final Fantasy VIII myself. It was the first Final Fantasy I'd ever beaten all the way through without giving up on. Honestly my favorite game of all time though; probably GTAV. Not because it's new or anything like that. It's just so cool all of the different features they put into the game and how realistic it is. It's like a life simulator with no rules.

I love the Kingdom Hearts series as a whole, but my favorite has to be Birth By Sleep. Out of all the games, the pacing is the best, the storyline just works with integrating the Disney worlds the best, the battle systems/gameplay is the best, and my three favorite characters in the series are in this game.

Also, I enjoy the Ace Attorney series, Pokemon (main series and Mystery Dungeon), Final Fantasy, Animal Crossing, Dangan Ronpa, Legend of Zelda, and the Legend of Spyro trilogy. Also kind of like Skylanders, 'cause collecting shit is fun.

Don't think it counts as a "game" since it is strictly a visual novel and not playable at all, but I also like the When They Cry series, Umineko being my favorite.

Hmm, I haven't played many console games but I've been trying to get some under my belt!

I really enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts series since I was young, I really like the characters but growing up with it has left me to grow really distasteful of all of it's faults. The nostalgia is strong though and my wall it still covered in posters and I keep buying merch T.T

After that I really like Journey from thatgamecompany. If any of you guys have a PS3, get the collector's edition.. and if you have a PS4 it's coming out on there soon too! An absolutely beautiful and amazing game, really makes you see games as a real art form. It's not too long either!

I've also really been digging Shadow of the Colossus (even if its hella old) recently too. Super fun, atmospheric, and challenging (to me!!).. As for PC games I really like Guild Wars 2, Psychonauts, and League! :P

But out of all of that I have to say Journey is my favorite! :P
