hi

well, I think it's a stupid question... but I'm just wondering: you say to take - taking , to drink - drinking , to run - running and so on. but what do you say in this case: to party - ??

Party is a verb.

I am partying at a party.
Partying = verb
party = noun

I think partying is ok to use in everyday English, anyway, partying is colloquial, so I guess saying that you party, "partying" is acceptable
