So on my left foot for some time on the heel there has been a small area that has lost a lot of feeling, but that eventually went away, but today on my right foot, the better half has seemed to have fallen asleep. Its sort of like when you lay on your arm a while and it feels weird. Today i noticed it, but im not sure how long it has been like this, it works fine and everything, but when i touch it, it just feels wrong, like not sensitive at all.

any thoughts on what this might be that is this prolonged falling asleep.

btw the area on my left foot was like that for a month+

I've heard diabetes can do this due to poor blood circulation due to health complications it causes, often leading up to foot amputation.

I've heard diabetes can do this due to poor blood circulation due to health complications it causes, often leading up to foot amputation.

This issue is more common when the diabetic obtains a wound or some type of injury on their foot and it has trouble healing due to the lack of blood flow, leading to infection and then amputation. Your foot falling asleep could be diabetic related, but it is not likely it will lead to an amputation.
If you do a lot of running or other high impact activity, you could have damaged the nerves on the bottom of your foot. It could also be something more serious such as a blood clot but that is not common in the foot. You should probably see a doctor to be sure it isn't any serious nerve complications.
