That movie gets me every time. The song "Married Life" from the soundtrack is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's the one they play in the beginning of the film during the montage of their life togethe---where did all these onions come from?! Someone hand me a Kleenex.

I love love love Amelie. I could watch that over and over again. I loved Spirited Away, and Pan's Labyrinth, then maybe even David Bowie's Labyrinth :P Foreign films are just more charismatic and David Bowie is David Bowie.

YES AND IT'S TERRIFYING HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYY COW. It's just disturbing. Spanish films are so unafraid to be creepy, even if it's not meant to be a creepy film. Granted, El Orfanato is meant to be that way, but blaaaaaaaaaah I probably watched just the top left 1x1 inch corner the first time through.
