Maybe if people don't go full retard about it. If people could be as reasonable about it as they are offsite with the illegit ways of trade(most of the time I hope haven't had to deal with this personally) it might be an interesting turn for the site. I could imagine people on neo being dickbags though and tnt would never want to put the work into making a proper system for it just like they don't want to with nc although the nc community isn't doing too bad on their own even with the problems it has.

I feel like other sites usually have a target audience, and Neo can be a little bit all over the place with it, so putting something as complicated as selling virtual items in the hands of so many different sorts of people could cause major issues.

Maybe there could be guilds people sell within or something, sort of like clraik, but other than that, it seems like there would be too many necessary restrictions that would be a pain to enforce.

TNT has said in the past it's because of morality reasons. But it could also be to make it as much of a real economy as possible. Like in real life you're not allowed to sell your kidney because of morality, a normal economy has things like this

It makes no sense you can't sell your kidney because someone has the money to pay for it and wants it but we just give them to the sickest people

Like we give pets to the people that get them first or if they want to give them out...(or used to, pet trading kinda threw this off)

Untill neopets allows people to create stories on petpages about violence and relationships ~ i still consider it targetted at the age of 6yr olds. Lets be honest, they can put relationships into plots yet you can't post on a petpage about kissing or people being killed (even though zombie and transparent pets were created) The age of "violence" has drasically decreased, i'm finding i'm killing people who are 8 years younger than me online (PS & xbox). Jumpstart need to catch up.
