See the reply above. It is most likely something on your computer blocking it... like an antivirus. Try disabling and restarting your computer, then running as admin.

I have disabled the antivirus, reset my computer and run as admin and it is still telling me to download the latest version. I also tried on my laptop and partners computer with a similar outcome.
All on your home Internet? It could be your router blocking it for some weird reason. Never seen this issue before...
Make sure you're putting your correct clraik info to get authorized too, though this usually gives a different message.

Assuming both attempts were at home it sounds like a port issue to me, I've known programs even from big companies, wont update properly or in some cases at all if the wrong port is closed. It could also be that the program is up to date but is having trouble communicating some things with cK's server. What might cause that a communication issue like that besides ports, I'm not sure.

Is there a way to see what version he has so that we can see if updating is the issue or if it just can't verify it.

I've had the same issue with the message to download the latest version (the first time it was to download the latest version, then a few times afterwards it's happened to me again). Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. I've had this happen on the two computers I use for clraik programs. The first few times I re-downloaded the program and had no problem logging in, then it happened again and I just closed the program and restarted and it was fine. I'm sure it's probably a problem my end and not the program itself but thought I'd tell you anyway in case it happens to others, this is what I did.
For reference, my first computer is Windows 10, Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and my other one is an ancient Windows 7 HP Pavilion.

So I downloaded the new update as of 3/30/2019 but when I try start it up it tells me that I need to update the program...
