TL;DR: According to (you need an account to see links) by NT on Reddit, it seems like it's currently impossible to get the King Skarl's Charm unless you use the old layout. Essentially, by just adding a "/" to the end of the link on the beta page.

It also looks like you can use the script to tell jokes if you use the old layout as well!

Just so I'm clear, has access to the source code from "a few years ago", and a search around the forum seems to suggest that the Grumpy King beta replacement took place around mid 2021 (which lines up with the editorial he referenced), so has anybody confirmed that the information he's presenting is based on a recent look at the game's source code, or is he just referring to bugs present in leaked source code from "a few years ago"?
I love a bit of gossip for fun's sake, but neo_truths is prone to embellishing his insight and omitting verifiable details. A snippet of old code is interesting to look at, but how old is it, and is the information reported on it relevant to us now?
Presenting this as something fresh and useful for all of us to learn from is a bit sensational.

It's really embarrassing that when the Neo userbase wants to know something, they go and ask NT to once again look into places we're not supposed to have access to for information.
People on board 7 were discussing the legitimacy of a user who bought this item based on his findings. Most of what he posts are close to glorified witch hunts.
I don't doubt that he has database access, but source code access is what I'm curious about. He said that the code he has was from a few years ago, so that would mean that pieces like this aren't necessarily accurate anymore. Only the Neopets team could say for sure, but it wouldn't benefit them to indulge this stuff. I don't mean to sound like a contrarian, but I'm not a big fan of the ambiguity of details like that when it comes to insights. That's the difference between a tabloid and a credible news source in my opinion.

Should the UN's be maybe blurred out just in case there are lurkers?

No need to blur these names. It's all publicly available information, and even if they belonged to someone on this forum, no one has stepped forward to claim ownership...
