I think good things will come from this move. downsizeing can be a good thing when your starting fresh. Then they can build it up and do as they want and not have to take on and fix with others have destroyed.

Another pet site I used to go on (fluff friends) got shut down.
I didn't even find out until a year after it happened, but I was still pretty sad, since I was attached to those pets and I would never see any of the friends I made there again.
So if the same thing happened with Neopets, it'd really be a shame. Especially since (sad as it is) I'm really attached to my account and the friends I have there.
