Can JS please just disable the boards until they bring back moderation?

Neopets is full of young kids, and older people as well. I've already seen several posts linking up skype accounts and the like. There are predators out there, and kids do stupid things. Neopets needs to shut this shit down before someone gets hurt.

I don't care if they have to run ads openly on the site, they need to pay the piper, bite the bullet, and fix the site.

Decreased moderation is good, but not at this level.


The worst part is that they DONT EVEN PAY MODS for the boards. So they're likely looking to hire people formally. And that's totally fine, but they need to disable the boards or up censorship until its done.

anything can almost be automated properly.

Absolutely, but the mods help a lot when confronting small loopholes, like ASS being banned, but A$$ not being banned. I appreciate moderation, and if they're paying they are going to get better quality.

I honestly thing that Jumpstart is trying to make neopets more geared towards adults. This is good, but allowing things like 'massive SKYPE chat???' to be posted? Not good, or safe.
