Does illegit NP's/items mean that they are AB'ed with program? Or does it pertain to only duped/genned items/pure?

All nps/ets/ucs you sell or buy are illegit regardless of their origins. However, there are different categories of illegit such as safe and unsafe, which can further be split up into their own categories. Safe nps can consist of ones from inactives and a few other sources. Unsafe nps are ones that are taken off actives, duped, etc (though genned nps are safe as long as it's not from an exploit everyone knows).

Yep, AB'ed nps/items are still considered illegit so you are right. I think that items bought with illegit nps can also be considered illegit but I am not so sure on that. Also if you get an item from another account (someone elses) that may be considered illegit as well.
So does buying items/NPs on here and other like sites make it illegit since you are technically "cheating"? Or is it like a moral thing and based on your own interpretation of illegit?
