I ran into one of my past bffs while shopping today
We're both socially awkward and lost contact thanks to a no longer mutual friend and haven't talked in years but she approached me while I was in Marshall's and we immediately struck up conversation like nothing had changed.
New numbers exchanged and I have a tea time on Tuesday set!
First social interaction outside of family/docs/retail personnel in nearly two years!
I'm scared and excited but wanted to share because, hey, it might motivate somebody else to go out there and reconnect with an old friend or set a date to go out with a buddy or something. So many others here with anxiety and anti social behavior. We need to support each other!
