Somebody may think their pet is legit when in reality it was sold years ago and just passed around and now people /think/ it's legit. We have fueled the PC FOREVER.
So I've been lurking around the PC and for several, several,times I've looked at UC pets whose "owners" claimed to be legit and stuff.
Like seriously, does Neopets have so many UC pets and believe the UFA UCs are actually legit?*
*Yes, I know some are but someone putting a WN UC Faerie Wocky UFA and "picking" someone is suspicious
Edit: Nope, didn't apply for it but it's just weird how come there are several UC pets UFA

Even some of the big players are rocking bought UCs. They might have traded for them legitly but I know personally of a few top users who are rocking pets I sold off xD
@(you need an account to see links) is right, a ton of the popular PCers have bought pets, they just have the support of the PC compared to a lot of people.. which prevents them from getting frozen and makes things seem more legit... whether or not the rest of the PC thinks they're legit pets.. probably notand sometimes they initiate the witch hunts on pets themselves.

When I was more stupid, I bought a uc and made a "returning after several years board" on the pc at like 12am.
SOMEHOW I didn't get frozen or reported (god knows what drugs the pc was on then), managed to safely make a trade then adopt the new pet out to one of my accounts, then retire that account from the pc gracefully.
I still see that pet I bought uft occasionally though, which is funny.

Like if i bought a pet and threw it on a 4 month account then posted 20 months later would it be fine or does tnt actually check that far back

Honestly, I think compared to illegit NC or NP items UC pets are the most common. I'd say that between 75% - 90% are illegt because like others said a pet may be deemed legit because it has been around for years but more than likely it was sold . buying and selling has died down a lot for the past few years it seems so... Who knows.
