Glad to hear that I wasn't the only one who thought this. The new NC items are pretty though. Maybe they got new shitty artists for NP items but kept the amazing artists for NC items, because they get money from NC.

Looks like they're using the binary pen in Sai, lol.
I think either they don't care about smooth lines, or they saved improperly as a .gif and it got pixelated.

I mean some new nc items are okay, but lately it seems pretty bad. This is the first time in a long time I'm not even going to try the new WC.
I'm just hoping it's because everyone, even the art team, is busy fixing/freaking out about all the glitches.
I thought it was just me seeing the pixelated stuff. I was hoping they just saved the image as the wrong format and it turned bad. But why would you post the shitty image anyway without fixing it? I'm guessing a lot was pre-drawn by Nickelodeon's artists which is why many of the items released that take a lot of effort to draw for each neopet (like the NC and np wearables) still look the same good quality. But then new random books and scrolls look sub-par.
I thought something was kinda off when I scrolled past that stuff but I have barely looked at the site in days my poor pets. I hope they just maybe messed up those ones :/ Although with nc items they have a terrible habit of just warping and stretching images to make them fit on half the pets without at least tweaking them properly or even looking at the finished product it seems. Has anyone else noticed they don't consider how big or where some pets are positioned on images either and sometimes pets are standing on stuff in the background of the image? lol not sure if new artists or just tnt getting lazier/sloppier.
I've noticed it too. It's frustrating because it could look nice on one pet but with the other it looks like it was copy/paste/rotated on.
Theyre pretty quick about fixing actual NC item glitches though, like if a bg isnt showing up or something.
I actually love the stamps.
Oh guys dont get me started on how lazy and stupid they are with NC items
