Pulled a random amount of shells off one of my lists. Ran through exactly 218 accounts at the advent calendar. Got 3 SAPs. This is stupid lol

I will take advantage of anything TNT gives us… just because I can.

At the same time - this is even more stupid than the istaff. Whoever gave the green light for this is a moron. Regardless of whether you can afford it or not - pre or post deflation - this should give ZERO confidence in TNTs ability to connect and know their community.

I’m running 16 accounts and 1 pea in 3 days, that was the first day too.

I was hoping CChan wouldn’t be in there but I have a feeling it will be. My lab ray stamp deflated like a lead balloon when the quests came out, may as well do the same to my CChan xD

Im sitting on a few Chan stamps and I’m absolutely hoping it’s not in there. After recent events, I’m not too confident that it won’t be in there though. Just preparing now to lose hundreds of millions all over again lol

Seems like it, but that's a VERY small sample size. I don't have the time to run through thousands of accounts to get a better estimate. Also, do we know whether each account is only able to get SAP one time, or can you get multiple? If you have a chance of getting it everyday, who is to say some people couldn't get multiple on their account over the 31days of the advent calendar.
Even though it's a pretty small drop rate, you add that up across tens of thousands (a lot of people seem to come back for advent calendar) or even hundreds of thousands of accounts (not including shells that we illegit folks use) and there could be an INSANE amount of SAPs out there in the wild by the time the new year comes.



I hadn't heard of any of that. I just got peas not long ago, so doesn't seem like it's removed just yet. Still a very real chance for it to drop. I have seen rumors about reddit staff in cahoots with NT with regards to what items would drop in events so that they could sell them before they deflated. I'm sure it's all wild speculation but not entirely out of the realm of possibility. It's too bad JN got pulled into it, I think they do an AMAZING job with their site and have some truly talented people over there running things.

It's not that small of a sample size! But you're right I didn't even think about the fact that its multiple people, not just once but every day for 31 days.

I think people are exaggerating, giving SAPs with little probability is not something that damages the economy...
I mean, how many people had one? it affected a smaaaall percentage of people.
An item that could damage the economy is baby paint brush, which is actually a currency in the trading post.

For me, it’s not just how many people are impacted but the confidence that I have in TNT and the economy in general. Why would I trade when what I buy could drop do dirt cheap junk in a few weeks? It stagnates the economy. For all we know they could mass release baby paint brushes next week and push them to 50k each. You never know what’s coming… not in a good way either.

They very well could. But say they are given away by advent calendar. Idk the EXACT stats but as a conservative number let’s say 10,000 accounts get a baby pb. No shot 10k pets are painted baby in a year. They’d drop to 300k and nobody would pay more than that because there would be so many of them out there. It’s used as a store of value. If it’s suddenly widely available, it’s a poor store of value and thus not pegged to any stable amount. The price of a baby pb could easily collapse.
