True! I meant high-end like plush, fae techo, dari wocky etc. though.
On the note of a Royal though, I guess you could say you pained it yourself? If my idea is a good one, anyways. I haven't secured a high-end pet so I'm mostly just speculating/inquiring about what would be a good way to do it.
Stay off the boards and do things with the pet that makes it look like a permie. I'm currently working on this, get your sides looking good, train the pet, lookups, Petpage. Stay away from the boards if you can, or make a board account if you wanna chat.
Always ask for and accept advice from others who know what they're talking about has been what's helped me the most.
