If you watch George Romero's newest movie ( since most people consider him the father of the flesh eating zombies ) Survival of the Dead:
My biggest cry is that I wish they would be in more line with the comics because they have a really epic storyline and a LOT of the people watching Walking Dead haven't read the comics so why change it so much in the tv show?

Well Shane was a great character on the show, and pretty sexy, if they followed the comic exactly they would lose a lot of viewers. Way too many people die in the comic to please fans, it's not a long enough episode to show character development as quick as they did in the comic. I'm pleased with it being a little different, I'm not sure what to expect then I'm like wtf after each episode cause it was never predicted. I'm sooooo excited for next season and the prison. Omfg. And fuck Michonne. That was awesome. Lovely. :3
OOOOAAARRGGHH!!
Not follow it exactly but closer at least is what I meant they could have done the settings and story more closer and yet not killed off as many characters as fast. To me the SHOW he was important in the comic to me but on the other hand I love how the show added Daryl; so I am torn. Yes, I am really excited and surprised by Michonne showing up.
Agreed, I can't fucking stand Lori. I think a lot of Shane's wacko-bs is her fault.^ that woman irritates me

So would it be bad to read the comics that before watching the rest of season 2 or should I read them as the season progresses? I just want to know how much they spoil the show.
I saw that this is on Netflix.
Very tempted to give it a watch.
