so, idk how many of you know this (probably not many)
but in the past, i suffered from severe night terrors
and i still get really bad nightmares on the reg
it's why i can't watch scary movies
or read scary things
or talk about scary things
because i know what it does to me

even if everyone says a movie is "really good," it might be, but i don't watch it
because i know i'll pay for it later
i still have nightmares from years and years ago about movies that i watched, even if it's been so long since i saw the movie that i don't remember but maybe 1 or 2 things that happened in it
even movies like sixth sense, the ring, signs
gave me nightmares
it's bad

another thing about me is that, while i'm at work, i work out for an hour at the gym
i love to watch what not to wear
and i'm usually still in there sometimes when it ends and the next show that comes on is long island medium
so i've started to love long island medium
because theresa is fking hilarious and i just find it fascinating
haven't really decided how i feel about what she does, b'yeah

so tonight, i was scrollin' along through facebook
and someone had shared a link about some guy whose girlfriend died and then, months later, he started to get messages from her facebook account
i was like "omg this is going to be really cute i bet like how theresa brings people back together on long island medium!!!"
so i clicked the link and read the story, and it was the creepiest shit i've ever read
probably all fake, of course, but creepy nonetheless

long story short, i kept reading this creepy story even though i knew it was probably fake and i knew that it would probably give me nightmares, and now i can't stop thinking about it
and i'm supposed to go to bed soon
i live in my apartment alone with my cat who won't come out from under the bed because of fireworks

and i just really wanna have some good conversation to get my mind off of it

Uh, I baked a cake today. It's vanilla cake with filling (I got lazy and used instant pudding lmao but it was delicious and it sort of passes as a custard filling so heyyyy) covered in chocolate frosting with whipped cream and a cherry on top. No pictures though it's all goneeee

I wish your kitty would come out. Cuddling something warm and soft is just what you need!

like how one person couldn't be in candid pictures in the yearbook more than 3 times total
so we had this long list of everyone, and every time we added a picture of someone, we had to tally next to their name to show how many times we were in there

one day, we were leaving class to go take candids around the school, and she was like
don't forget to check the hit list before shooting your assignment!

Honestly? I looked up custard filling recipes and it was all these INGREDIENTS and I had to mix things I was like NOPE.
Instant pudding. Done.

I mean, I like baking. I have my limits.


My high school journalism club never seemed to do anything worthwhile? Like, we all paid $100 for these darn yearbooks that they spent the whole year making and the pictures in there of people are TERRIBLE like eyes not open, facing away, mouth open while speaking, etc. I realize these are supposed to be candid photos of people being normal doing school things but come on now...10 years down the line someone's gonna open this yearbook and be like LMAO WUT.

It's like they goofed off all year and realized in the last 2 weeks before printing that this yearbook needs pictures so they went out and got whatever they could.
