Haha don't be too excited. Most of the development work I've done is with specific API's and otherwise automating activity within a PC (like renaming, sharing, pdf reading, etc.) I'm a complete amateur to most things web based. The closest I've done is an xml parser to pull info for a team from my company. Trying to get a working login alone has already made my head spin.
