The half day at the very start of the event possibly counts as a full day, too (as opposed to previous days where the first full day was 1.5 days).

This is soooo mean! Other timezone sucks. That was my only missing part, did everything else, donated every day, watched every dialog, I'm pissed!

I had the same problem! I was actually on during the morning, repeatedly over the course of a bunch of hours - but clearly I went offline (to WORK lmao, like adults MUST, tnt) right before the event started and didn't get back online until the next day - and by then it was too late. The first day being a half day instead of at LEAST a full day (or the usual 1.5, which was always mildly annoying when you got there early but extremely relieving when you got there late) is utterly ridiculous and means that so many of us missed out because they couldn't start "on time"... honestly, out of everything terrible Neopets has done in the past ten years, this is like second in line behind the new "original email" policy.

Debating if I should buy a second Illusens Staff and sell it for pure? I have enough points and then some and already bought the books I needed via NP on SSW. There's some thought in the back of my head though that there will be more items to buy at the close of the event though for some reason.

I can't say I understand the half-day thing at all. If an event is scheduled to start on X day, it's bizarre to go "well you missed something those few hours the day before so you didn't do the whole event." If anything that extra .5 day should offer an easter egg reward, not be mandatory for an avatar or whatever else.

Kinda mad at myself for missing one day of the faerie daily prizes bc i was out of town and completely forgot The avatar is actually nice.

Hoping they will release it to be purchased with points like someone else mentioned. Would solve a lot of issues. I also have so many points to spend on crap.

Oof, missing only one day really hurts considering they gave out an avatar, I could care less about those wereables they used to do like the deluxe dark faerie wings but an avy doesn't come back.
