I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet little friend's passing *hugs* It's clear he was a very loved and appreciated cat, and that's all he or anyone could've asked for from you!

Thank you all for your kind words and support! It's so weird without him already.

And cremating is kind of expensive indeed, luckly for cats they charge a little less than when it's dogs, but yes, is the best thing to do that. I lost 3 pets and I have their little urns in my house, with their collars and their picture, is a nice way to remember out loved ones and all they did for us, those little pets are in heaven now and so is your gorgeous cat. Hopefully you get the money soon, be strong <3
I found an urn that I can put his name on and there's a slot for a picture. I think I'll probably be getting that one. I also need to find his collar. He hasn't worn it in years because he hated it but I know it's around somewhere. We just need to find it.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. I'm in a similar position right - mine's been missing for over two months. I know what it's like to have such a big part of your family gone. Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts.

Oh @(you need an account to see links) I'm so sorry. My cat is my best friend and my kid, I can't imagine how broken up I'll be when he dies someday. I've lost two kitties in the past and my childhood dog; pets are just as much your family as people are I feel. If you ever wanna talk or anything just let me know.

If you're having trouble getting the funds together to cremate your kitty then definitely let me know. I have been there and I will be happy to kick you over some money in paypal. Make sure you get single cremation, too, so you know it's just your baby you bring home - not parts of bunches. (It's common with some pet crematoriums to do a group cremation with a lot of people's lost pets and then just give everyone some of the combined ashes.) It can cost a little more, or take longer to find the right place, but it will make you feel better to know that's your friend you take back home with you to remember.

I'm sure that while you had him with you your cat knew how much you loved him and you gave him a wonderful life. That will be something you'll always have, the knowledge of how much love you had for your fur family member and how much he had for you.

Sorry for your loss. Keep his memories close to you as you will find they are comforting at random moments. Like when he may have been a brat knocking your stuff off the table or maybe pushing his way into the bathroom to see where you went. Small things like that, hold them close to your heart. Joke about him too that helps a lot. Like if he was notorious for liking a certain people food mention that to yourself when you eat it again and chuckle about it. It's been over a year since I lost my best friend doggy pals and I still find myself talking to them and looking around the room at their favorite spots. I made the mistake of holding his leash the other day and smelling it, still has his scent so I won't throw it out. Maybe do not hold his collar for awhile. Just look at it, otherwise it hurts too much.

Damn, I'm really sorry to hear.

If 1 of my cats dies, I don't know what I'd do ;(
Especially since they're such good friends together. Bleh. Shouldn't think about it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He was such a handsome kitty! I'm sure he's had a great life filled with love while he was with you. I can't imagine losing a beloved who was a big part of your life. Must be so weird to adjust to life without him, stay strong!

When we take him, we're going to see if we can get his paw prints. I want to get them tattooed and my mom does too. I don't have any tattoos but I've been wanting to get one. I just didn't know what I wanted to get that I'd be happy with being permanent. But I'm okay with that.

Sorry to hear that, losing a pet is one of the worst feelings.
