You know, that brings to mind the fact that Komari (who is now banned.) once sold me out to FR staff to try to get unbanned.

I haven't been banned: I haven't done any fr transactions since the summer, so that's probably why. not active enough to get a blackmail message

Also, it seems to be mostly gem sales or big ks sales that have gotten ratted out on, since when i bought for fr it was items only, not gems

Got banned as well, no KS or gem sales either (at least no recent ones). Last time I bought something was in summer and those were items, not even a suspicious amount or something. Actually, I only made 3 clraik-deals this year, including the one mentioned above, so... yeah. �\_(ツ)_/�

Nah, I don't think so. I mean, yeah, sure, it probably affected both sides but a lot of the people who got banned were (semi-)big Gen 1 hoarders, so I think most of them bought stuff.

There's also a possibility of sellers not understanding that FR sales need to be done extremely carefully. One little slip up and you've caused a massive ban wave.

Someone might not have been.

1. Masking their IP
2. Using more than one account without masking their IP
3. Not very quiet about what they're doing when not on CK
4. Took no preventative measures in securing anything they've sold.
5. We all know how crazy the community is about finding cheaters. And if you don't. They make neopet cheating witch hunts look like child's play. They LIVE for this. It's a possible mole but again I don't have enough information so don't panic about this possibility. I also don't know the liklihood but it's slim compared to someone along the line in the chain of sales fucked up and they fucked up bad.

That goes for buyers the same way as sellers.

Hopefully we can get some answers.

yeah, my last sale was in the beginning of the month, around the same time as someone else who got banned and bought from one of the people I did, who also got banned. so I'm more than a little nervous....but it makes me feel a little better that theres a few who also avoided it
