We are fairly sure there will be boons because of the way the explanation for this CC is that we won't get *prizes* but will still be *rewarded* -- Granny whatshername says she got in touch with some "influential" people and that sounds to me a lot like they're suggesting certain 'powers' will be the reward, not items. However, we don't have any idea what those boons will be except for perhaps some totally unverified claims/sources posted a few pages back in a board.

It is mentioned in the charity corner faq (the ? at the top right of the CC page) that the prizes are boons, along with some BS like how Granny believes donations are not for monetary gain blah blah blah. Under the question about prizes.

As for what the boons are, there's only that shady thread that got deleted after a while. The user claimed to know the prizes and they were downright shitty like *temporarily* expanded inventory, feature your neopet, no ads etc.

Anyone go through the source code for the pages available? There's a ton of stuff that isn't shown on the actual pages. I didn't go through all 25 pages of this thread, so sorry if it's already been posted.

Unpopular opinion I posted earlier: This is the best designed CC yet, as far as the purpose goes. Gets rid of millions of junk items, and doesn't add more items in. Hopefully the boons are worth it, but if not, at least lots of junk is purged from Neopia

I'd kind of compare this style to bought DLC in Xbox games, like you can gain an advantage if you want to spend NP on expensive items, but if you're willing to invest time into it instead you can get to the same level much cheaper/free. I've just been donating junk (item, tab, tab, tab, tab, donate) and I'm at almost 2000 points in virtually no time.

EDIT: And I loooooove seeing people crying about it getting changed. Sucks to suck, I guess. They should know by now TNT is highly unpredictable and just about any investment is a gamble.

I don't really mind as much as others but it does seem kinda of pointless to me. I guess there's the possibility that the boons might be useful but after the quality of gameplay released in the last six months people are most likely getting their hopes up. If they wanted to purge junk from Neopia it would have been nice to code a better/faster way to donate different from previous CC. I got around 10K+ points on a few accounts but so bored of donating that I will probably slow down and just donate each day for the potential to miss out on daily completion rewards (if they exist). I'm sure there are a lot of others like me with tons and tons of items that will just remain in the SDB because of the time requirement & lack of information regarding the boons and possible rewards. Guess some players are having fun donating and clearing SDBs but personally it seems pointless to continue.
