Does this book glitch still exist?

You know when a pet thinks a book is too boring and doesn't read it in English, so you just change the language until you read it? Last time I was active, that wasn't working and it was glitched. Is it back to working or am I just going to have to wait for it to be fixed?

It worked for me last night when I tried it with the Chinese and Portuguese options.

this is not a glitch, apparently it has to do with the amount of letters in the pet name , if it's the same as the number of letters in the book name the pet won't read
or something like that

well yeah i knew about that, so that's why you change the language. but the glitch (that i guess doesn't happen anymore) is where you would change the language and the pet still wouldn't read the book regardless of language. i had 3 books in my shop that my pet hadn't read, and now it finally worked.

It's not always the exact number, though I don't know the other factors involved. My 6 letter pet name was refusing to read 11 letter book titles for a while there.
