How come my pet didn't change into UC? ( Wasn't paint today, and it was a uc-able pet a long time ago)

No it does not work for newly painted or created pets. It only worked with pets that were the colour and species of grandfathered UCs that were that colour and species when the glitch occured.

It may not have been a grandfathered UC type. There are lots of old UC styles that were not allowed to carry forward at the time of conversion (for example a Royal Boy krawk). If you pet was one of these this glitch would not apply to it.

But It was a Maraquan gelert?
I saw some people did get a glitch uc Maraquan gelert.... but why mine wasn't changed?

When you go to your pet index page does the pet show as being UC? If it does on this index page then your pet would be coded as being UC.

Btw, why some people go to the PC with their GUC, they show as a UC in the active pet, but mine wasn't?
I saw one of my pets was a GUC already in my pet's index but when I come to board with him, it show as a converted pet in my active pet.

It has to do with the coding on the site. So if your pet is showing as UC on your index page then that means it is coded as UC. It's just still an error on the site that it shows as converted in the active pet on boards. To help your pet show as UC through the site you need a Flash enabled browser and go to the original Flash customization link below. Add a background or foreground item to your pet then save your customization. This should help it show as UC throughout the site.

Honestly, even if this does end up being patched, it was cool to see some of my favorite pets as UCs. I have a plush ixi on my side and I was so happy to see her as UC, she looks so so much cuter. Glad I at least have the screenshots! This all makes me excited for when they finally do come out with NC UCs!

Although, I do agree with everyone saying this is gonna be pretty fucking hard for TNT to undo. It's almost impossible to distinguish real UCs vs. GUCs now.

Wish it would work on pets with a fresh paint job. I'm dying for a certain UC Royal.

They are indeed UC! The same way existing UCs customization won't save unless you do it in flash, these newly UC pets are stuck on their last saved pet image until re-customized in flash (and therefore still look converted). If you look at them anywhere that shows their base rather than their saved custom - so the customization portal for one, but also places like the battledome - they show up as UC too

Speculation atm is about whether they'll let us keep them - this is a MASSIVE mistake on TNT's part, but there's also no easy way to fix it.

ETA since I somehow missed this last page - I don't think customizing them or not will effect whether they stay UC, it's simply about what images they display. They're already UC, even if they don't look it.

Thank you for the explanation I would be totally happy if TNT did allow us to keep them UC, but I suppose we'll see what happens!
