Well, they kinda just gave her to a relative to raise instead because she was a shit as a child.

But, my close friend/ex's madre actually bought his little brother. In Mexico, like they paid her friend and her friend's husband for him and then went to court and they signed him over to said friend's madre and all. He doesn't know he's "adopted" yet.. but he was kinda bought. Like how pets are done here. Morally wrong? I dunno. I know he's better off with an older brother to look out for him and shit.

Much better situation than what he possibly could of grown up into, I suppose.

I know of a few families who have bought children/etc that way, the children would of died if the people hadn't of done that, so. It's depressing all around.
