So basically, I got myself a new UC Royal pet for $200. I had it cached on my own side account and got myself an inactive main account, apparently last seen a long long time ago from @(you need an account to see links), and after transfering the pet over for caching and safety reason before getting the pet onto my main, I get back on the computer to see infos changed and my pet converted.

What the fuck just happened. I thought that account was safe or I got hacked or whatever.

Did you have an easily guessable password? Was that account pinned?

I mean its always good to take precautions and to keep a log of account information in case you need it... but seriously it doesnt always help, if someone wants into your account bad enough they can get in :/

At least though you would have ALL the info you needed to submit a ticket plus some :p

The password really wasn't easily guessable and there was no pin @.@
However, I really dont see, unless Im fucking unlucky, how the original owner could have decided to get back the second I put my UC on it

I know, I just hate the fact I bought the account being told it was verrry secured and that the owner hadnt logged in for so long. I just find the circunstances kinda weird as someone got into it just an hour after the pet being there

Yeah...that is weird. Certainly doesn't seem like a coincidence if the account's owner was last seen long ago. Did anyone else know you were transferring your UC to that account?

I'm going to go with the others and say tough luck. TNT rarely unconverts pets (unless you're well-known), going to be even harder for an illegit pet proving it was yours and somehow just transferred into an inactive account with no prior relation.

When placing something valuable on a shell, it's a good idea to log into the shell a week or two before to make it active (just to test if TNT is snooping), mess around a bit, then *casually* change the pass/email. Then after a few days/1 week, if the account still isn't frozen, then you're good (mostly).
Just to lessen any risk of awry possibility.

Takes a lot of time, yes; but for the amount of $$$ you pay on pixels, well worth the effort.
