What's this about Jumpstart? It can't get worse than Viacom and I hope they start hiring some competent people instead of the fools that are currently working at TNT.
As for activity, it's not what it was. Hopefully it will increase with an android/ios launch.

I would say yes but only if they resume the APP which I'm hoping will happen cause it will bring new peeps to the scene and then neopets will hopefully make a little come back.

TNT is still the same people, the only person lost was Lawyerbot since he works for Viacom.
I'm so pumped for this app, but knowing them it'll take forever to release.
JumpStart is only there to make games and apps. Nothing more.
Its still the same douchebags running the site, just Viacom is out of the picture.

Well it might mean less NC-events all the f-ing time. Although I kinda doubt it. To me Viacom tried to squeeze as much out if as possible and probably did a good job out of it. Their focus on user experience, err not so much. It can only get better I guess
Well like I said its still the same people Viacom hired that are working on content and stuff, so nothing on the site is changing too much except maybe games and the mobile app. Though they did release a survey before the switch, so they might improve a few things on the site that were heavily complained about.Well it might mean less NC-events all the f-ing time. IMO Viacom jumped ship because Neo was failing, not because they were profiting off the sell to JS. JS saw that some users spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on NC items so they said "hey Viacom, can we buy this off you?" and Viacom, knowing its rapidly dwindling userbase, said "Sure!"
I'm predicting even more pay-to-play events if not an outright fee for all users until there aren't enough people interested in spending money to keep the whole ship afloat.
I'm open to arguments on the other side but this is just the feeling I get after returning from a 3-4 year hiatus. Things have changed, probably gradually, but things are def more NC-heavy and the number of users is def tinier.

Everyone needs money to run nothing is free sadly, I think maybe the Neopets app if it ever happens will likely cost .99c to buy from the App Store, what they need is more and better "APP like games or just go outright more APP based that have a connect to Neopets like how most apps connect to Facebook.
JS would know they got plenty of work to do but let's all just hope they don't try and milk a dead cow like VC.
