I don't have much of an opinion of Kanye West's rap music, but I do agree he must possess a certain business savvy to be able to rise to the top of his field the way he did. Even if his music or actions aren't to my taste, heheh. \o\

No one is saying that he doesn't have musical talent/isn't a musical genius. It's the fact that he acts like he's anything more than that that's laughable. He's been trying to infiltrate the fashion industry for years now, and everyone except his butt-buddy Tisci just thinks he's one big joke. He's an angry little closeted man who makes good music. That's it. He isn't "the voice of this generation", "Steve Jobs of Internet Culture and Fashion" or "The nucleus of culture". He isn't the intellectual that he's recently tried to present himself as. I wouldn't even call him pseudo-intellectual.

"North West" isn't edgy or cool, it's similar to 99% of the ~culturally genius fashionable special snowflake~ fuckery that comes out of his mouth. It would have been much sweeter to name that kid after his mother who claims to adore and respect.
