Probably no where.
If I had the funds I would drive up to Washington state to visit my sister/nieces and my best friend.
I really would love to make a Vegas trip. My husband and I have family there and we used to live there. We love it.

Ironically, even after traveling to several places in the world, I still haven't visited my own country much. I have a few friends who absolutely loved Vancouver and I'd definitely recommend going to Banff (Lake Louise) in Alberta as it is a really stunning and peaceful spot.
Also, a boys trip to Vegas definitely sounds promising! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun there! Do you know already what kind of things you'll be doing there? (Like going to the casino, concerts or stuff)
Iceland and Australia are definitely countries I plan to visit sometime in the future! Actually, my boyfriend and I were debating whether to visit Ireland/Scotland or go to Iceland instead, but Iceland seemed a little too expensive for my current budget. Definitely let me know how it went if you decide to go there!
The Vegas trip might be canceled.. or postponed rather. It would just be a two night/three day trip and my dad thinks it would be better as a longer trip considering the time difference and my work schedule. He's going there for work so we were gonna tag along for a bit. Oh well. This winter we are planning a proper trip to vegas with my uncles as well as a few friends (hopefully). I plan to gamble a bit and see the shows. Apparently it's essential to walk the strip and check out all the hotels too. I heard Blue Man Group tossed around too.
Ireland/Scotland was a cheaper trip than Iceland? That's pretty surprising! I haven't priced it all out but I'd figure the airfare alone would be much more expensive going to Ireland. They have this new airline that specializes in Iceland apparently, so we'd be taking that I think. What do you have planned for your trip? Lots of sightseeing all the wonderful views, I'd imagine!
I want to see the northern lights. That would be so cool

I am really excited to go to Scotland as this has been one of my dream destinations for so long! I really love how stunning and peaceful the scenery looks and I can't wait to see it with my own eyes! That kind of hot weather definitely sounds promising so I'll keep my fingers crossed so it can last until we get there!
We have some places in mind that we would like to visit while we are there, but I doubt we will be able to go everywhere due to the fact that we will be staying in the country only 5 days. We are first flying to Glasgow and we really want to check Edinburgh out. We were hoping to go to Isle of Skye and the Highlands too, but we didn't consider it would take several hours by car/bus to get there.

I guess we might not have the best deals here in Quebec when it comes to flights. When we checked, the plane tickets alone for a round trip to Iceland were about 1000$ CAD compared to around ~600$ CAD or so for a roundtrip to Ireland. I'm not sure about the comparison between the two when it comes to hostels, food, transportation and such, but the airfare alone convinced us to go to Ireland/Scotland instead! My boyfriend loves to hike and walk so most of planning so far is related to visiting national parks and stunning scenery spots! We do plan to visit more touristic places such as Dublin itself, castles and such! Since we haven't made any reservations yet, we will most likely take each day as it comes and drive to wherever we feel going to and appreciate the landscape.
Postponing it so you can stay there longer and enjoy it to the fullest sounds like a good idea! Vegas always seems to have a lot of fun things going on so it might be better if you can actually take the time to try out everything you want! I wonder if I would have any self-control at all if I were gambling in Vegas

@(you need an account to see links) we're struggling to agree on names to be honest. There's a few that she loves that I don't mind, some that I really like and a few we both like.
At the moment there are two that seem to be contenders, Isaac & Reuben.
The problem is every family member and friend we have suggesting names, telling us they don't like ones we suggest etc. That and the fact that no name has really jumped out and 100% GRABBED my attention yet.
Glasgow is cool, trendy if you like, Edinburgh is nicer and more scenic in my opinion; such a nice city! We went to both Glasgow and Edinburgh last july and it snowed whilst we were there, looked so nice driving through the country!
I'm sure you'll love it.
@(you need an account to see links) another thing about Ireland/Scotland & Iceland to consider is money to spend whilst there - things are uber expensive in Iceland when there so you'd have much more to go around in the UK, especially with the poor at the moment due to "Brexit".
