It's actually not a scam. The person who created the gofundme actually plays neo and owns a small business called "Better Businesses, LLC" and they seem to be pretty passionate about Neopets.

Only reason I know this is because I used to work with them and they programmed a lot of stuff for me. Lol

Sorry, it's a scam. You can't buy a business when the owners aren't willing to sell. Regardless of what they own, they're not very intelligent because Neo is worth much much more than $50,000.

I'm sure they make more than that in a month and run on way less. The profit is huge. JS doesn't care about running the site because they're sitting on a goldmine of ad and NC money.

Exactly, I don't understand how people think this is in any way legitimate with that evaluation.

But yeah, I certainly stick around for he nostalgia and I know others do too. The game hasn't changed in 8 years or so it seems, which is quite sad.
