Whatever I've mentioned was just an idea though. It's not actually implemented. Still, it might be a good idea to just fight for the most voted team since "if you can't beat them, join them" and secure yourself a boon.
That said, there is no guarantee that joining the most voted for team will lead to you a win at the end of the fight. What matters is that people actually fight for the factions they choose. I hope people don't get the mentality that joining the most popular faction will guarantee them a win at the end of the skirmish. We have to actually contribute fights in the battledome!
(I.e. The underdog faction may still win if their participants put up more fights than the more popular teams)
I've not chosen a team myself. I voted for order but like you, I will wait till tomorrow and join the most voted team and just fight for it so as to secure a boon.

It's pretty easy if you challenge the easiest challenger out of the 3 opponents in each team!
You don't really need a strong BD pet. Just have a weapon or two equipped to your pet and you should be good.
Once the war starts, you'll be able to challenge the opposing team in the battleground!
